You call or text me

Reach out when you are ready, even if you only have questions. You do not need to have decided anything. If I cannot answer, I will call you back personally as soon as I can.

I call you back and we talk

I will ask about your pet, how they are doing, and what you are hoping for. We pick a time that suits you, including evenings and weekends where I am available, and we talk about aftercare so it is settled in advance.

I come to your home

I arrive quietly and take my time. There is no rush. You can choose where your pet is most comfortable, whether that is their bed, the couch or the garden.

Settling your pet

First I give a sedative so your pet drifts into a deep, relaxed sleep. It is gentle, and they are not aware of what comes next. We wait as long as you want before going further.

The final injection

Once your pet is fully asleep, I give the final injection. It is quick and painless, and their heart stops within a few minutes. I will tell you each step as it happens, and I will confirm when they have gone.

Afterwards

You can stay with your pet for as long as you need. I will then look after them with care and arrange the aftercare we spoke about, whether that is cremation or home burial.
