Hello, I am Dr Uzair

I've been a veterinarian for seven years, with experience across both general practice and emergency medicine. I offer this service independently and personally, giving families the reassurance of dealing directly with the same veterinarian throughout their pet's care.

I see euthanasia as one of the kindest things we can offer when a pet is suffering and their quality of life can no longer be maintained. It gives us the opportunity to end that suffering peacefully, without fear or unnecessary discomfort.

For me, it's also about celebrating the life that came before that moment. Our pets may spend 10, 15 or even 20 years as part of our families. Saying goodbye is incredibly difficult, but it can still be peaceful, dignified and surrounded by the people and things they know and love.

Why home

Familiar and calm

No car ride, no waiting room, no strange smells. Your pet stays on their own bed, in their own space.

Time for your family

Children, other pets and relatives can be there. You can say goodbye without watching the clock.

Less stress for everyone

Pets that are frail, in pain or anxious are spared the trip, and you are spared the empty carrier home.

How it works

    1

    3

    I come to your home

I arrive, take my time, and make sure your pet is comfortable and settled before anything else happens.

Aftercare, in the same conversation

We talk through your options together so you do not have to arrange anything separately.

Private cremation

Your pet is cremated on their own and the ashes are returned to you.

Community cremation

Your pet is cremated with others, with no ashes returned.

Home burial

Where it is appropriate, you can bury your pet yourself at home.
